Anyway, the above lyrics is for the El Tango de Roxanne song. the part where they danced tango. Love that song so much. it's like a mix between "Roxanne" and "Tanguera". splendid!

ANYWAY, our mid-term examinations are finally over ! I feel so happy. no, really, I am.
I kept thinking today's Friday. From the moment the final bell rang until, even now! It just feels like a Friday!
so yeah, going over to Juin's place tomorrow. half-day you see, so yeah.

and then, we'll have our holidays, but boy, my 2 weeks are all filled up! I still have to check where i can get a Zorro outfit, along with the shoes. (more about that after Leo Forum, hopefully) Ah, speaking of which, I won't even have time for my movies! ):

damn, Barcelona beat Man Utd., I still want to watch the match though. wonder if they have replays.

my head hurts. Badly. Real bad. stupid bus. stupid accident. nvm.

and i agree with Gwen now. Pet Society isn't THAT exciting. Addictive at first play, but yeah, it's getting sort of boring now. i mean, on my 2nd (or was it 3rd?) return to Pet Society, i sort of got bored already. my new addiction --- Word Challenge! ahhaha. It's so fun! hahaha.

It feels good when a primary friend, whom you've somehow lost contact with over the past few year, talk you you again. Just out of the blue, he/she says a hi and the conversation just kicks off.

The feeling of being connected again is good and it just makes you want to sit and reminisce. (:

Just came back from one of my aunt's 70th birthday dinner and I feel good (:

'cause so many people said I've grown taller. (yes, I did wear heels but it wasn't that high.Besides, that's not the point.) Point is, I enjoy being tall (:

I've been Facebook-ing a lot today, actually. and Pet Society on Facebook is so addictive! I've been going around on a massive Friends-clean-up, bathing everyone's pet in order to get more paw points! XD
it's so fun! and i blame my sis for getting me so hooked.

Also, i've got Tweeter now! and I so love Ne-yo's Year Of The Gentleman album. it's so good! There's the video for his song, 'Part Of The List', on his website. you should go watch it. It's like the prequel to his 'Mad' video.

Actually, for the 1st time since the start of school in January, I missed Azmir during Econs. class on Friday. I mean, he usually goes for prayers and all every Friday but I wouldnt actually miss him or notice it that much. But on just this one Friday, I actually noticed it. (note to Azmir's never-ending admirers: I am not falling for him. no worries alright?!) was just worried since he left for the hospital instead of prayers. (:

OKAY, let me bore you about my Saturday(yesterday lah)

After the whole Wesak thing (OH! this little girl drew a picture of me ~~and my sis, and mum, and dad, and bro, and gran~~!!! hahah. I had long hair in the drawing (: she's so cute! ), we went home and then around 3, dad, sis and I went shopping!

we went Pavillion to shop for present actually.
First, we went shopping for bro's upcoming birthday present. after a long long long search, we finally found a nice wallet. (sis is going to go 'wash' a photo of me and her and put it in the transparent-fied part of the wallet. hehe. he shall suffer.)

Then, we went scarf-hunting for my grandma! actually, we wanted to buy her crystals or a nice pendant or smtg like that but she's actually quite fussy about those stuff. so yeah. scarf was the only thing we could think of. went Promod and bought her this pretty scarf!

Stumbled upon Patchi! the store is cold. hahah. they don't sell chocolate truffles and almost ALL of their chocolates contain nuts. mum likes nuts but yeah.
So, we went for Godiva instead.
had a hard time deciding what to get. If we pick whichever truffles we want, it won't come in a box but in a tiny little paper bag(so it'll be squashed and stuff)

we ended up getting a box of 12 truffles. ~~(rm155. damn expensive)~~
the Luxury Box one was really pretty but there'll only be 3 truffles in it. so didnt get that one.
will probably give it to to mum later.

that's about it.

After a very long anticipation, I finally watched Pride & Prejudice again on Friday.
Half of it, at least.

something's wrong with my disk though, cause halfway through the movie, it started 'jumping' and 'jumping' and then it just stopped. so yeah, i declare my P&P DVD dead.

I need to go shopping again. It's time to buy some stuff. namely:
- Pride & Prejudice DVD
- Vanity Fair DVD
- Vanity Fair : A novel without a hero (novel) by William Makepeace Thackeray
- Pride and Prejudice( novel) by Jane Austen
- a new wallet

think maybe the holidays will be a good time (:

Lee Hom's concert

OKAY. time to blog!
leehom first!

so, on saturday(last saturday obviously), 02.05.09, 8pm, leehom brought his hotness and talent and held his Music Man Live concert in Bukit Jalil Stadium, Malaysia.

Went there with Juin, her bro, her dad, and quinnie.
went Juin's house first(xiao wen was so upset, I'd say). Then we went Secret Recipe before picking Quinnie up from her house. Parked outside quin's area and we walked to the stadium. - - - *concert*- then, walked back to the car, dropped quinnie home, had mamak near my place. then Juin's dad dropped me home. End of the day. (:

Actually, the concert only started around 8.20 or 8.30 with the opening acts by local artists. Daniel Lee and this girl, Kay(i think. in chinese it was something like xiao wei)

After that, we all got what we all came for as the famed USD25,700 G-clef dragon guitar(by world-reknowned Alistair) descended and then it went back up and came back down with Leehom(who was holding another guitar instead). OH YEAH, the thing he came down on, was like, a "flying saucer".
so yeah, fans got high as he belted out "what's wrong with rock". i never really liked that song and the only other time i heard it was at the park at Rae's place where NyeeKen and all were singing that song. yeah.
BUT, after the concert, i fell in love with that song.
ANYWAY, after a few more songs, he sang "Hua Tian Cuo" and in somewhere in the middle of that song he went like "friends in Malaysia, let me introduce to you, all the way Ireland, a Bahamut... it's first roar" and then he played a little tune on the guitar. and it was awesome.

Throughout the whole concert, there was never a dull moment.
He played the violin, drums, 2 electric guitars, the piano and he had this dance solo too!
OH YEAH, the dance crew was really good. especially when they had this individual dance thing when different superhero characters were shown on the LCD screens. There was this black guy who was dancing when it was The Hulk. he was good. really good. slick.
I later found out most(if not the whole) of the dance crew were from the States, so it kind of explains why most of them were so good.

One of the memorable performance was when he sang "sense of security". (that was the first time i heard that song and i fell in love with it the moment he sang the chorus) When he fnished singing that song, he just turned around and walk a few steps back before falling backwards into this trapdoor. and immediately the LCD screens showed a short animated clip thing.
It showed the Music Man falling deep into the water with his armour and all coming off. and then towards the end of the video, the words ‘当Music-Man卸下他英雄外衣时，它也是一个需要爱情的普通男人。' came out. and there was a loud "awwww" from the crowd that could be heard. haha.

OH YEAH. when those words came out, Quinnie who was sitting between Juin and I, went like "okay, incase you guy can't read it, i'll read it for you"(that time when around the second part of the sentence) she quickly said what appeared earlier on, and started reading the second part.
However, before she even finished reading, Juin and I already finished and we were like "awwwww"(yes, we were one of the touched). and Quinnie just went "OKAY. you guys can read it. GOOD."

There was a few "magic acts" here and there throughout the show. He performed quite a number of his songs, including a few from his newest album. Alistair was at the concert too!

That's about that i can recall for now. about 25,000 people showed up for the concert. That's a big crowd. really really big.
Overall, it was a brilliant show. after close to 3 hours, leehom found himself a new sworn fan -- me (:

at times like these, I'm just so glad I went to a chinese primary school.

That reminds me, I have yet to get the book.

Juin was talking about Dawn by Dario Marianelli and since i forgot how it went, I youtubed it just now. now i'm in love with that song too!

I just feel like watching Pride&Prejudice again! that movie is one of my favourites.
I especially love the part where Mr.Darcy held Elizabeth's hand to support her when she got up the carriage and then when he walked away, his hand did that 'thing'. as if he was thinking "ah, gosh, should have held on longer" or "I shouldn't have did that, now I'll go crazy thinking of her".
If you still dont get me, just go watch the movie again. or maybe the trailer will have it.
I love the on-screen chemistry between Matthew MacFadyen and Keira Knightly!

It's just so easy to fall in love with Matthew MacFadyen when he is as Mr.Darcy.
